One of our Grade 1/2 classes visits weekly with a writing class from CARIHI who help them write stories.

Most Tuesdays the Cedar Culture group meets to drum, dance, socialize and have a meal together. The sessions run from 4-7 PM and are hosted by MaryAnn and often Jacob and Shelley. Qwaya Sam, Floyd Jackson and Tommy George are the lead drummers of the group and Ursula Lucas is vital to making things happen. We thank them for their great contributions.
Local author Sophia Hansen shared her picture book The Crow and Raven with primary classes on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 2nd and 3rd.
On November 30th Cedar recognized students from each class and shared the art they had made with the rest of the school.
Many of the staff both old and new gathered to paddle the big canoe provide by the We Wai Kum band and ably piloted by James Quatell.
