We offer a range of Grade 11 and 12 courses commonly needed for graduation or for upgrading for post-secondary entrance.
All courses are free.
Our learning centre offers a flexible learning enviornment where adults can start at any time in the school year to:
- get their high school graduation
- get pre-requisites for further education
- upgrade high school marks
- prepare for college assessments
- build literacy in reading, writing and numbers
Each student is treated as an individual. Students are provided with one-on-one instruction. Because we have no regular 'classes,' students may book appointments with instructors or just drop in. Students are free to work in our classroom or at home. Some courses are delivered online, and others are paper-based. In partnership with the Literacy Association, there are times when students are matched with volunteer tutors.
An introductory computer class is offered in 12 2-hour sessions twice weekly several times a year. Call the Robron office and ask for Brigitte in the Continuing Education office to get on a waiting list.
The process for coming to continuing Education is to first meet with our Program Counsellor for a review of goals and credit as already attained before meeting with an instructor.
