Our students have begun collecting for care packages to gift our homeless members in our community just in time for the holidays as part of the Everybody Deserves a Smile initiative. The students, under the direction of teacher Drew Swanson, will be making Christmas cards and putting together over 150 care packages with donated new toques, socks, scarves, mitts, toothbrushes, etc. They will handpaint festive paper bags and deliver the packages in December. Everybody Deserves a Smile (EDAS) is a grass roots, non-profit association started in Edmonton in 2003 to bring smiles to those on the street. Thank you to everyone participating in this incredible project.
Please help us reach our goal of 250 Care Packages!
