Computer Courses

 

Public Courses or Special Events

  • Digital Art (10/11/12)
    Students will create a portfolio of work using mainly Adobe Photoshop. We will also look at Illustrator and Flash. Students will be encouraged to use a Wacom tablet and pen to create their art work.

  • Animation Outreach Program
    Timberline will visit elementary, middle schools and malls for a day and give the students a hands on experience creating their own cartoons.

  • Enrichment Days
    Two-four times a year classes or special groups can visit Timberline and get one on one instruction with the Animation, Game Design, and Digital Photography students of Timberline.

  • Introduction to Digital Photography
    Open to the public four monday evenings where we use our cameras to take pictures and learn how to manipulate them on the computer. Next course starts Febuary 16th 2009.

  • Digital Photography (10/11/12)
    Students learn how to take good pictures and then how to manipulate them. Correct, enhance, manipulate, and publish them.

  • Summer Camps
    Held the first two weeks of July. Computer/Classical Animation, Game Design, and Digital Art are the courses offered.

  • Game Design (10/11/12)
    We learn to program through making games in C++ and Flash. Introduction to 3D games design.

  • Computer Programming (12)
    Has a proven track record for preparing students for that first programming course at college or university.

  • Badminton Club
    Meets every wednesday from 5:00-7:00 pm. Come out and have some fun!!!

  • Information Communications Technology 11
    This is a course in computer applications with the major purpose of helping the student to become personally productive with the technology and software provided at Timberline.

  • Table Tennis Club Meets every Tuesday 3:00 - 5:00 pm. in the cafeteria. We supply bats and balls. Come out and have some fun!!!

  • Planning 10
    (computer section (4-5 weeks)
    Students will be introduced to making music, designing spreadsheets, creating 2D & 3D models and animation. They also will try to create their own digital art with Wacom tablets and manipulate photos. Creating a 3D level for a game finishes off the course.

  • The Power of the PAC
    The computer program would like to acknowledge the tremendous support provided by the Timberline PAC (Parents' Advisory Council). Without their critical financial support, we would not be able to offer the variety and quality of experiences displayed on this web site.
