Carihi Students Win Bronze Medal in National Skills Canada Competition
Carihi grade 10 students, Logan Jones and Elliot Sidlick brought home a bronze medal from the Skills Canada National Competition in 3D Character Computer Animation.
The Skills Canada National Competition was held from May 25 to 28 and the secondary portion of the competition included more than 200 competitors from all regions across the country in 45 skilled trade and technology competitions.
This was not an easy feat as gold winners from the regional competitions progressed to the provincial competition and provincial competitors had to win gold again to progress to the national competition.
