The Human Resources Department strives to recruit and retain exemplary employees who work together to help all our learners achieve their full potential. To achieve this goal, the department works very closely with district employees, union representatives, and managers.
The department coordinates the day-to-day personnel functions required for the district's 900+ employees: teachers, support staff, principals/vice-principals, and exempt staff. Responsibilities include: recruitment, orientation, employee wellness, posting and filling, leaves, replacement of absent employees, and labour relations.
