Soccer Academy

Overview

A true soccer player is someone who does not settle for that day’s practice, that day’s competition, that day’s performance. They are always striving to be better. They don’t live in the past. If you want to improve your game and have the courage to push yourself to the limit our Soccer Academy is for you.

In the Soccer Academy, you will develop your understanding of the “beautiful game” through individual and team attacking/defending coaching sessions. Understand the meaning of fluidity in possession, multiple systems of play and tactics such as when and how-to high press, low press, counterattack, man mark, zonal mark, transition and much more.

Accomplishments

We believe our Boys and Girls Soccer Academies' record of success is on par with any school across the country in terms of participation and accomplishments on and off the pitch.

Our present Senior Boys team have won the Vancouver Island Championship three times in the past four years and have qualified for the past four Provincial Championships. Our present Junior Boys are the North Island Champions and finished runners up at the Island Championship. This is the most successful era for Boys Soccer in school history.

Girls' Teams

We have been to Manchester, England on seven occasions and Hawaii four times. The Senior Girls were in Waikiki, Hawaii in the Spring of 2019 and the Senior Boys enjoyed tours to Manchester in the Spring of 2018 and 2020. Overseas tours are a constant highlight.
