Students Host Fair Trade Global Market

November 23, 2015

Looking for an alternative to 'big box' shopping this Christmas season? Check out the Fair Trade Global Market on Saturday, December 5 and help International Co-op students with their fundraising efforts.

The market will be held at the Timberline Secondary/NIC gym from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature vendors selling products from many developing countries. The dollars you spend on gift items will support and strengthen fair trade practices in many different parts of the world.

Vendors at the market will include: Gold Coast Treasures, Bridge to Africa, Comercio Justo Imports, Floating Stone Silks, and many more.

Come out and shop on December 5 - remember, fair trade gifts are gifts that give twice! Adult entrance is by donation; children are free.
