About Us

Quadra Elementary School has a rich community history extending back to its opening in 1954. This history is evident in the commitment to and involvement of the parent community, First Nations community, and local entrepreneurs and artisans.

Special projects such as a community garden, peace garden, musical programs, preschool connections and painted murals are just a few of the highlights of this school.

The school has an enrollment of approximately 100 students in kindergarten to grade 5.

At Quadra Elementary, we are proud of the learning accomplishments of all students, the inclusive nature of the school community, the dedication of staff members, the support and meaningful involvement of parent groups, and the respectful, safe and positive atmosphere.

Our island school is truly a great place to be and learn!
