GEORGIA PARK PAC NEEDING HELP WITH HOT LUNCH!!!

Hi Georgia Park families,

Our Hot Lunch Program takes a team to keep everything running smoothly. A few of our wonderful volunteers have recently moved on, and we’re hoping one or two parents may be interested in helping us continue offering this much-loved program.

Most of the support can be provided from home, and you won’t be doing it alone. Our PAC team will be here to guide you and answer questions along the way.

Hot Lunch Accounts Manager

After each round of hot lunch ordering closes, we need someone to:

• Review the accounts and confirm that payments have been received
• Send friendly payment reminders when needed using the Hot Lunch email account
• Check the red PAC box outside the main office for occasional cash payments
• Reconcile any cash payments with the appropriate family accounts

The current fall ordering round will already be taken care of, so support would begin with the winter and spring rounds.

This role can be completed approximately 99% from home, with support available if you’re ever unsure about anything.

Hot Lunch Vendor Coordinator

We’re also looking for someone to help coordinate our Wednesday Hot Lunch vendors throughout the school year.

This role involves:

• Sending each vendor their upcoming order
• Contacting the vendor approximately one week before each Hot Lunch date
• Confirming the delivery or pickup time
• Reminding the vendor to submit their invoice
• Copying the PAC Treasurer, who will arrange payment

This is a more ongoing role throughout the year, but it can be completed entirely from home.

Wednesday Hot Lunch Volunteers

We also need volunteers to help distribute lunches on Wednesdays.

If you didn’t select the volunteer box when placing your child’s order but may be available to help on occasional Wednesdays, please email us. We’ll add you to a list of parents we can contact when we need some extra hands.

Our support needs are specifically for Wednesday Hot Lunch days. Monday is Pizza Day, and our incredible student leadership team helps distribute those lunches.
