National Truth and Reconciliation Day - Recognition Event - Sept 29th & Sept 30th, 2026

Sept 29th

On September 29th at Georgia Park, we will be honoring the children of residential schools by wearing orange shirts.  We will have a small assembly in our gym.  After this, classes will partake in their Orange Shirt Day walk.

If your child doesn't have an official "orange shirt day", or a shirt that is the color orange, no worries!  We cut out small orange t-shirts out of construction paper, and kids can pin them on their shirt.

Sept 30th

There will be NO SCHOOL on Wednesday, Sept 30th as this is a statutory holiday for National Day for Truth & Reconciliation.
