About Us

Pinecrest Elementary opened its doors in 1967. The school has an enrollment of approximately 245 students in kindergarten to grade 5 and feeds into École Phoenix Middle School.

The school is also home to one of the district's StrongStart Centres, an early learning program for preschoolers and their families, and is known for welcoming and caring atmosphere.

The school's mission is that students will value their freedom, be responsible and accountable for their learning, and work cooperatively with others, demonstrating respect for themselves, others and the world around them.
