Library Announcement

As April comes to an end, we have two opportunities for the poets and writers among us to stretch themselves bravely:

Firstly, as a culmination of Poetry Month there will be a Poetry Cafe in the library on Wednesday, April 30^th during 3rd period and into the beginning of activity time. This event is open to any student who would like to perform a poem either of their own, or another poet's piece they have studied.

If you would like to participate, you must come see Ms. Brogan by Friday so she can preview your performance and add you to the program.

Secondly, all student writers are invited to submit their writing to Voices Visible, a province-wide writing contest for students from grades 4-12. The submission deadline is (also) April 30th. Teachers will be emailed the information and links. See Ms Brogan if you have questions or are interested.
