Friendly School Reminders

A couple of friendly reminders for our school community:

Morning Arrival: We’ve noticed more students arriving very early—sometimes as early as 7:30. While we love the enthusiasm, please remember that we are unable to supervise students before 8:30, and our doors do not open until that time. While the weather is nice, students are welcome to wait outside until 8:30. If a student enters through an unlocked door before then, staff will kindly ask them to return outside until the official opening time.

Pets: It’s puppy season, and we love seeing your furry friends! However, SD72 policy requires that all pet visits take place outside only, with a parent or caregiver supervising at all times. Pets should head home before the morning bell.

 Don’t Skip it!  We ask that you avoid using delivery services such as DoorDash, SkipTheDishes, Uber Eats, or similar apps to send food or items to students during the school day. With more than 600 students, managing these deliveries places a significant strain on our office staff and disrupts the school routine.

IF a student forgets their lunch, we have food available through our feeding futures program.

If your child urgently needs something, please contact the school office so we can assist in the most efficient way. Thank you for helping us keep our school day running smoothly.
