Consider Hosting an International Student for September 2024

The district's international student program invites you to consider hosting one or two of our grades 9-12 international students who will study here starting in September 2024. 

Homestays for 24 international high school students are needed for next school year. Do you have an empty room or two in your home?

Students are from Germany, Spain, Japan, Italy, Thailand, Switzerland and China for 5 or 10 months. Are you interested in other cultures and supporting students to learn Canadian culture?

We provide monthly compensation and support. For each student $980 is paid monthly to cover food, housing, and inclusion in your family. International student program staff are directly involved in supporting students and host families.
