Apex (Junior Program - Grades 8, 9)

Our innovative, full-day program offers a hands-on, cohort-based learning experience in a supportive setting. Students engage in teacher-guided, project-based learning that blends science, literacy, and numeracy through meaningful, real-world contexts. The program emphasizes experiential learning, including Walking Wednesdays, where students take their learning outdoors to explore, inquire, and connect concepts to the land and community. Designed to accommodate diverse learning styles, the classroom environment features low lighting, comfortable seating, and flexible spaces that promote focus, comfort, and engagement. Through a balance of academic instruction, hands – on learning, and adventuring into community, students build confidence, and a deeper connection between classroom learning and the world around them while completing curricular outcomes for their grade levels.
