Clubs

Clubs are offered through lunch or after school.  All clubs are open to all students of every grade, gender and ability unless explicitly noted.

Art Club

A chance to explore techniques and learn some new ones.  A place where you can catch up on your artwork and hang out with fellow art lovers.  Art club gathers Mondays at 11:55 in the Art room with Mr. Orjala.

The Green Team / Garden Club

If you are interested in practical, hands on experiences that help the environment or if you want to learn about gardening, come on out and help to improve Southgate's Green footprint.  The Green Team meet in the garden while the weather is still nice on Tuesdays at 11:55 a.m. with Mr. Seifert and Ms. Stevens.

Dungeons & Dragons

If you want to learn how to play D&D or are a seasoned player, this club is for you. Games are played in the Art room every Wednesday at 11:55 a.m. with Mr. Bailey.

GSA Club

The GSA Club is a Gender & Sexuality or Gay-Straight Alliance group that is an inclusive and safe place for students to meet new friends, learn about themselves and how to be an ally. Everyone is welcome! The GSA Club meet every ??? at 11:55 a.m. with Ms. Gigiel.

Mountain Biking club

If you want to learn how to tune up your bike and participate in awesome bike rides, head outside the Art room every Tuesday after school with Ms. Coulombe and Mr. Orjala.

Fabric Arts Club

If you want to crochet, knit or embroider, etc. come to the library every Wednesday at 11:55 a.m. with Ms. Brogan.

Running Club

Everyone is welcome! You don't need any prior running experience! Meet Fridays after school with Mr. Seifert.

Woodwork Club

If you want to work on your woodworking projects, have taken woodwork & completed the safety training, come to the Woodwork room every Tuesday & Thursday at 11:55 a.m. with Mr. Bryant.
