Carihi May Have Beat Timberline in Food Drive but Real Winner is the Food Bank

Carihi Leadership students with their winning Food Drive donations.

In the spirit of the season, Carihi challenged Timberline to a friendly competition for a good cause. The two schools ran food drives this month with the mottos Carihi Cares and Wolves Take Care of the Pack. Carihi won with an outstanding 1,700 donations and a total weight of 1,230 lbs and Timberline brought in 845 items.

Timberline held true to the terms of the competition and their principal Laird Ruehlen and Christine Middleton wore Carihi colours and gear for the last day of school before the break.
