Welcome Back, Carihi Tyees!

We are happy to welcome back Carihi students, staff, and families after the recent fire. While the past week has been challenging, it has also reminded us of the incredible strength, resilience, and support within the Carihi community and our school district.

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the firefighters for extinguishing the fire and keeping the damage contained to only a portion of the school. We also want to thank our maintenance and operations staff who have worked tirelessly around the clock to get Carihi, Oyster River and other temporary satellite locations ready to welcome students and staff back to school in such a short amount of time. 

And, a special thank you to Carihi students and families for your patience and understanding as we navigated the process of ensuring the school was ready for your return. 

As Carihi students and staff settle back into classrooms, we encourage everyone to take a moment to appreciate the sense of community and togetherness that has carried us through. If you or your child need additional support during this transition, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Carihi school staff. They will ensure every student feels safe and supported.
