Beach Day at Manson’s Lagoon

On Wednesday, June 24th (the last full day of school), Cortes School students will head to Manson’s Lagoon for a fun and educational Beach Day!

Students will walk down to the beach after first break (approximately 11:00 AM) to enjoy an afternoon of outdoor learning and play.

We are excited to welcome a visit from the RCMP and their Police Boat, who will provide students with important water safety lessons in a hands-on and engaging way.

What to bring:

• A packed lunch
• Water bottle
• Weather-appropriate clothing

Students will also enjoy a special treat — a Sundae Bar!

This is a wonderful opportunity for students to celebrate the end of the school year together while learning valuable safety skills and enjoying time at the beach.
