Cortes School is honoured to host our annual Indigenous Day Celebration on Friday, June 19th, in collaboration with members of the Klahoose First Nation.
This special day brings our school community together to recognize, learn, and celebrate Indigenous cultures, traditions, and knowledge. The day will begin with an Opening Ceremony and Gathering, followed by opportunities for students to participate in a variety of cultural learning experiences.

This meaningful day offers students and families a chance to connect with local Indigenous culture through hands-on learning, storytelling, and shared experiences. We look forward to celebrating together in a spirit of respect, learning, and community.
