District Honours 2026 Retirees at Annual Celebration

On May 28, SD72 recognized this year's retirees at a special event at the Maritime Heritage Centre, bringing staff and partners together to honour years of service across the district.

The annual retirement celebration offered time to reflect, reconnect, and show appreciation. The evening included shared stories, moments of laughter, and recognition of the many contributions made by staff over the course of their careers.

This year’s retirees have supported students, families, and colleagues in classrooms, schools, and district departments. While not everyone was able to attend, each retiree leaves behind a strong legacy of care, professionalism, and commitment to student success in Campbell River.

Thank you to the Human Resources team for organizing a thoughtful event that created space to recognize this important milestone.
