Nov. 6, 2026: Power Outage Update - Sandowne, École Willow Point & Robron Centre

Update at 12:17 p.m.

Sandowne Elementary, École Willow Point Elementary and Robron Centre have been without power since approximately 10 a.m. today, November 6. Power is not expected to be restored until later this afternoon.

Due to the length of the outage and concerns about heat, lighting and student comfort, parents and emergency contacts of students at these schools who are able to pick up their children are asked to do so as soon as possible.

Sandowne, Willow Point and Robron students who cannot be picked up will continue to be supervised by staff until the regular end of the school day. School buses will run at their usual afternoon times.

All other schools remain open.

If power returns at Sandowne and École Willow Point before the school’s dismissal time, the childcare centre will run as usual. If there is no power, parents/guardians will be contacted.
