Due to ongoing health and safety concerns because of COVID-19, School District 72 facility rentals for user groups are on a limited basis. Applications for renewals and new facility use rentals are considered on a case-by-case basis. This webpage will be updated when conditions change that allow the school district to again safely welcome rentals in all available school facilities.
Campbell River School District welcomes members of the community to enjoy our facilities. Youth or school groups, members of the non-profit community and businesses are all eligible to rent School District 72 facilities.
School facilities available for rental include libraries, multi-purpose rooms, gymnasiums, cafeterias and classrooms.
Priority will be given to school and continuing education programs, youth groups and community recreation. Repeat groups are required to apply in June of each year.
Available facilities, hours and days of the week are currently limited. Available facilities can be rented between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday.
To Book a Rental
To request a rental as an outside or non-SD72 group, please complete the SD72 Facilities Rental Form and contact our facility booking clerk at (250) 830.2326. Please note: a minimum of fifteen (15) days notice is required for cancellation of reservations. Refund does not apply to the $50 (+GST) application processing fee.
SD72 staff or groups needing to use school facilities for SD72 events outside of school hours should complete an internal application for use of school facilities and submit the completed form to our facility booking clerk.
School Playing Fields
School playing fields may be reserved during evenings, weekends, and holidays by the Campbell River parks and recreation department. Visit the City of Campbell River's website to learn more.
