Parents Invited to Take Part in Student Learning Survey Until May 1

General News, District News
Ministry of Education and Child Care

Parents and caregivers are invited to share their feedback through the Ministry of Education and Child Care's 2025-2026 Student Learning Survey. The survey is open until May 1, 2026, and helps schools, the district and the province better understand student learning, well-being and school experiences.

The Student Learning Survey is completed each year by students in Grades 4, 7, 10, 11 and 12, along with parents, caregivers and school staff. It asks questions about school environment, safety, achievement and sense of belonging. Results are used by schools and the district to guide planning, celebrate strengths and identify areas for improvement.

Parent participation is important. Feedback from families adds to what students and staff share and helps provide a complete picture of how students are doing in school.

The survey is voluntary and anonymous. Responses are securely stored in Canada and are not connected to individual students.

The parent survey is available online, takes about 30 minutes to complete, and can be filled out using any computer or mobile device with internet access. It is also available in 18 languages.

Families can complete the survey at: Student Learning Survey - Province of British Columbia

To begin, choose School District 72 (Campbell River) and your child's school.

The survey will remain open until May 1, 2026.

Families who need help with the survey can call 1-866-558-5339 or email support@awinfosys.com
