Two SD72 Classes Win a Day on Mount Washington!

Congratulations to Erin Pickering’s grade 6/7 class at Southgate Middle School and the Elm Alternate students at Robron Centre with Jacob Miles!

Both classes took part in a creative contest where students worked together on an art project, shared photos or videos, and explained why their class deserved a snow day. The deadline was November 21, and SD72 won two of the three prizes. 

Erin Pickering’s class will enjoy an alpine ski day, while the Elm Alternate students will head out for a Nordic ski day. Each trip includes lessons, a full-day lift ticket, and rental gear—everything needed for an unforgettable day on the mountain! Thank you, Mount Washington!
