2026 School Trustee Election

On October 17, 2026 voters in BC will elect mayors, councilors, area directors, school trustees and others to fill four-year terms on municipal councils, regional district boards, school boards, and other public organizations.

The Campbell River Board of Education regularly meets throughout the school year. Below is a summary of the highlights from the April 14, 2026 public meeting.

Parents Invited to Take Part in Student Learning Survey Until May 1

Parents and caregivers are invited to share their feedback through the Ministry of Education and Child Care's 2025-2026 Student Learning Survey. The survey is open until May 1, 2026

    Students who are interested in learning about careers in the trades are invited to attend the Interactive Trades Expo on Friday, May 1 at Timberline Secondary School from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

    The event is hosted by WorkBC Centre–Campbell River in partnership with North Island College, School District 71 and School District 72, along with local industry and community partners. 

    The event is intended for secondary students who want to learn more about opportunities in the trades or who are considering future training or employment in skilled trades programs.

    Students interested in attending should sign up through their school’s careers office.
