SD72 Parent Event: Anti-Bullying Workshop

SD72 District Parent Advisory Council (DPAC) invites all SD72 parents and guardians to a free anti-bullying workshop on Thursday, January 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Timberline Secondary School library.

    SD72 District Parent Advisory Council (DPAC) invites all SD72 parents and guardians to a free anti-bullying workshop on Thursday, January 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Timberline Secondary School library. 

    The workshop presented by the BCTF focuses on the cycle of bullying and how to recognize signs that your child may be being bullied.

    A free spaghetti dinner is being provided by Popsey's, childminding is also available, and there will be prizes!

    In partnership with Health Canada, QuitNow is hosting 'I Quit For Me', a series of sessions for youth ages 13-18 who would like to stop vaping or smoking. The sessions will focus on health risks of nicotine, creating a support plan, and healthy ways to manage stress. Sessions are 45-minutes on Zoom and run every Tuesday at 7 p.m. from February 3 to March 3, 2026. Please register in advance to secure a spot.
