Year-End Letter for Parents, Guardians & Caregivers

Minister of Education and Child Care Lisa Beare has shared this year-end letter for parents, guardians and caregivers.

Funding Approved for Carihi Secondary Rebuild

The Campbell River School District has received official approval from the Province for funding to rebuild key facilities at Carihi Secondary School. This approval allows the project to move ahead.

Bus Pass Applications Open for 2026-2027

Families who need to apply for a school bus pass must submit their application by June 26, 2026 to avoid delays in September.

2026 School Trustee Election

On October 17, 2026 voters in BC will elect mayors, councilors, area directors, school trustees and others to fill four-year terms on municipal councils, regional district boards, school boards, and other public organizations.

    Summer School 2026 registration reopens on June 17 at 8:00 a.m. for a final intake period.

    This is the last opportunity for students to register for available Summer School courses. Families are encouraged to review options and register early, as space in some courses may be limited.

    Registration will remain open until June 23 at 8:00 p.m.

Provincial champions 🏆 A combined Carihi and Timberline team has won the high school ball hockey provincial title, finishing with a 2–1 overtime win in the final. The team went undefeated and stood out for both skill and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
