Quadra Students Recognized in Provincial Holiday Card Contest
Two young artists from Quadra Elementary have been selected as winners in the First Peoples’ Cultural Council (FPCC) holiday card contest, a provincial celebration of creative talent from Indigenous children and youth across British Columbia.
Carihi Tyees Win First-Ever Provincial Boys Soccer Championship
The Carihi boys soccer team has made school history, capturing the AA provincial championship in a standout performance at Burnaby Lake.
Safe Zone: A Zombie Film Now Available to Watch Online
Students from Carihi Secondary’s Video Productions class and Sayward Elementary have released their collaborative zombie movie, Safe Zone: A Zombie Film, for streaming.

Huge thank you to our local Home Depot team! They donated a full lift of 2x4s to the district. Some of the wood will support projects in our maintenance shop, and the rest will head to middle and secondary school wood shops where students can put it to good use. The wood was no longer sellable in-store, but it’s perfect for hands-on learning here.
