Family Literacy Week
The Campbell River Literacy Association is pleased to host Family Literacy Week.
Family Literacy Week celebrates families learning together through everyday activities. This year’s theme, “Make Mealtime Family Learning Time,” highlights how shared creation of meals can be meaningful opportunities for conversation, connection, and learning.
There is a schedule of all free community events taking place during Family Literacy Week, as well as a scavenger hunt at www.literacyforall.ca. The scavenger hunt will run for two weeks and can be completed in any grocery store. Activities focus on the outside ring of stores, where healthier food options are typically found.
