January 8, 2026 Update on Carihi Gym
Over Winter Break, crews completed temporary work on the Carihi Secondary gym. This work was done to protect the building from further damage while the district waits for approval from the provincial government to move forward with additional repairs or potential replacement.
Student-Led Charity Hockey Game for BC Children’s Hospital
Grade 12 students from Timberline and Carihi Secondary have organized a charity hockey game to raise funds for BC Children’s Hospital. This event is a student-led community initiative and is not sponsored by the schools or school district.

Grade 12 students from Timberline and Carihi Secondary are organizing a charity hockey game to support BC Children’s Hospital 🏒❤️ The game will be on January 16 at Rod Brind’Amour Arena. Warm up will be at 7 p.m. and the game will start at 7:30 p.m. Learn more about this student-led community initiative and how to support it on the Timberline and Carihi websites. * This is a student-organized community event and is not sponsored by the schools or school district.
