The Province of British Columbia is adopting permanent year-round daylight saving time (DST) to improve people's overall health, reduce disruptions for families, simplifying scheduling and provide an extra hour of evening light during the winter months.

Community EventTimberline Musical Theatre is proud to present BIG FISH, based on the celebrated novel by Daniel Wallace and the acclaimed film directed by Tim Burton. BIG FISH is a fantastical, heartwarming musical that follows the life of Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman whose larger-than-life stories captivate everyone around him—especially his loving wife, Sandra. But their son, Will, about to become a father himself, is determined to uncover the truth behind his father’s epic tales. As Will embarks on a journey to understand the man behind the myth, BIG FISH explores the power of storytelling, family bonds, and the search for identity.
Shows will run March 6-7 and March 12-14 at 7 p.m. with a 2 p.m. matinee on March 8. Tickets are $15 for students/seniors and $18 for adults. Purchase online through the link attached.

📎 Kindness has been on the move at Carihi Secondary and Southgate Middle School. Carihi leadership students ran Clip Kindness, inviting peers to secretly share kind messages using handmade pins. And Southgate students recently did something similar. If you found yourself clipped, you were encouraged to pass one on. Simple actions. Student-led.
