Carihi Secondary to Remain CLOSED Nov. 25 & 26

Following the fire at Carihi Secondary, the school will remain closed to all students and staff on Monday, November 25 and Tuesday, November 26, 2024. 

We need this additional time to make plans for how we can support students and continue learning in the days ahead. We are committed to keeping staff, students, families and the community informed with the latest information we have, but we are still gathering important information from the fire department, our operations team and health and safety staff that will guide our next steps.

Our priority is to get Carihi students back into a safe and supportive learning environment as soon as possible.

We will continue to provide updates as they are available and thank everyone for their patience and understanding as we work through this difficult situation. Please continue to check our website and district social media channels for official information from the school district.
