The important role of homestay hosts play a very important role in the Campbell River River School District International Student Program. Host families are an international student’s front line of support while they are studying abroad. Your role as a host is to offer a safe, welcoming, and enriching immersion into life in Campbell River. The International Program provides host families with the following: 

• A monthly stipend for student hosting expenses
• A dedicated homestay advisor and program team providing training and support
• Regular support and check-ins by the homestay advisor
