Hairdressing Foundation Program

Do you have a passion for hairstyling? If your answer is yes then consider taking the Hairdressing Foundation Program available through Del Rio Academy in Courtenay.

When students have successfully completed the program they will receive 32 Grade 12 credits and recognition of their hours through ITA.

If you are interested in this program please see Ms. Camerin for an application to the program. SD72 will assist with some of the costs associated with tuition and lab fees only. Students are responsible for books, kit and transportation to and from Courtenay. 

This program is designed to take full advantage of the ACE-IT (now called the Youth Train) program through ITA. This program is available to Grade 12 students as a full time, full day program which takes place 4 days a week. The program contributes towards graduation credits and is recognized by Industry Training Authority as an apprenticeship pathway. There is a cost to the student for taking part in this program.  Please check the Del Rio Academy site for the most current changes.
