Board Approves Local School Calendars for Next Three Years

The Campbell River Board of Education has officially set the school calendar for the next three school years: 2023-2024, 2024-2025 and 2025-2026. 

Based on feedback from parents and staff, the originally proposed four half Pro-D days for 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 have been adjusted back to two full Pro-D days. 

The board is required to create a calendar that meets legislated requirements under the School Act and the Campbell River District Teachers' Association collective agreement. The number of professional development hours are set contractually.

Important dates from the school calendars will be posted on the district and school websites, under the calendar feature. As this posting is being done, there may be an increased number of event notifications through the parent portal app. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience and advise parents that they may wish to turn off notifications for a short period of time while these calendar updates are being made.
