Eddy and Gillis Re-Elected as Board Chair and Vice-Chair

At the November 7 public board meeting, the Campbell River Board of Education re-elected Trustee Kat Eddy to serve as chairperson of the seven-member board for the upcoming year. Eddy, who has served on the board since 2018, held the position of vice-chairperson from 2020 - 2022 until she was elected chairperson in the fall of 2022.

Trustee Craig Gillis was elected to the role vice-chairperson for the upcoming year. He has served on the Campbell River Board of Education since November 2022. Both Eddy and Gillis were re-elected by acclamation.

The Board of Education chair and vice-chair are elected annually. The next public board meeting will be on Tuesday, November 28.
