Honouring Red Dress Day at Robron Centre

General News, Arts & Music, Curriculum & Learning
May 5, 2025 Red Dress Display at Robron Centre by the Elm Alternate School's Vortex class.

This powerful red dress display at Robron Centre was created by grade 9-12 students in our Elm Alternate School's Vortex class to honour the lives of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and 2S+ individuals.

The decorated red hands symbolize the voices silenced by violence and the call to remember, reflect, and take action. Thank you to our students for using this art display to raise awareness and create space for important conversations.
