Phoenix Dodgeball Tournament Raises Money for Tour de Rock

Phoenix teachers and the student leadership club hosted a 4-day dodgeball tournament to build school spirit and begin fundraising for Tour de Rock, presenting a cheque for $572 at the end of the tournament.

Almost 350 students participated, forming 16 teams. The Phoenix leadership club hosted a small canteen during the games and donated the cost of all the food items that were sold. 

From the two lunch groups, Snoop Dodgy Dodge and The Game of Throws were victorious and got to face off together against the rough and tumble Phoenix staff.

Guest appearances were made on the court by Bonnie from the Firehouse and Rachel Friederich, who were roped into this fantastic showing of staff and students. The leadership club is already planning their next fundraising event.
