K-9 Communicating Student Learning & Reporting Framework, 2025-26

This reporting framework reflects a collaborative effort among teachers, administrators, and support staff. It aligns with provincial reporting requirements and guidelines, adapted by our local reporting committee to reflect our district’s context.

The framework guides reporting practices to accurately reflect what students know and can do. It aims to provide parents with clear, meaningful information about their child’s progress and how they can support learning at home. Effective reporting ensures transparency; students and parents should never be surprised.

As a living document, the framework will continue to evolve. Grounded in principles of quality assessment, it supports ongoing dialogue around assessment and instruction.
